Giving Back

Despite all the challenges this pandemic has brought, we continue to provide homes to those struggling even more in our community. This weekend, four South Florida families’ dream of homeownership has become a reality, thanks to our partner Habitat for Humanity of Broward.

The Spartan Jacksonville 10K Super & 5K Sprint took place on February 22-23, 2020. We want to take this opportunity to thank Hector Picard who represented our BBI team with great determination and perseverance.

Our CEO - Robert Taylor Jr. and top executives from other organizations partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Broward to build and sponsor homes alongside hardworking families.

On Sunday, February 2nd, Burdette Beckmann sponsored and participated in the 15th Annual Run Through Central Park 5K in Plantation, FL.

BBI is proud to announce we reached our goal during our 11th Annual Hooked on Kids Fishing Tournament.

Our President, Robert Taylor, was recently featured in a WSVN news article for his participation on Habitat for Humanity's latest initiative in Broward to begin construction on seven new homes near Washington Park in Fort Lauderdale.

On March 16th and 17th BBI South Florida had a unique visitor, hunger activist Kylee McCumber.

Burdette Beckmann, Inc. (BBI), a 60-year-old confectionary and snack food brokerage firm based in Hollywood, is proud to announce that it has committed to sponsoring a Pompano Beach home in partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Broward.

It was a brisk morning as Burdette Beckmann employees gathered on the Sheridan House Campus to take on the challenging Goliath Gauntlet.
