Making the Homeownership Dream Come True for Two New Families!

Everyone deserves a safe place to call home. BBI and the Robert Taylor, Jr. Family welcomed home on Saturday, June 26, two new families - the Canteen and Wright.

Pompano Beach, FL. – Seven new families have now a place to call home thanks to Habitat for Humanity and the family home sponsors, including BBI and the Robert Taylor, Jr. Family.

After putting in several hours of sweat equity and working for months alongside volunteers and home sponsors, the dedicated families received the keys to their forever homes at a ceremony held this past Saturday, June 26, at the Rick Case Habitat Community in Pompano Beach, FL.

BBI, CEO Robert Taylor stated – “It’s a wonderful thing when we dedicate one home, but to do seven at one time is just remarkable. Housing is such a huge problem in our society today, specifically here in Broward county. When working alongside the homeowners, it’s humbling, and it’s always a blessing because their backstories are so impressive; they’ve worked so hard to get where they are.”

The Habitat for Humanity program is not a giveaway but a partnership in which hardworking families are involved in all aspects of the mission to obtain an affordable home. BBI and the Taylor family are proud to be sponsors of Habitat for Humanity and support two more families in achieving their dream of homeownership. We dedicated homes for Monique Canteen and Kenya Wright.
