New Homes, Lives Changed.

On Thursday, June 25th, five new homes were dedicated to families via Habitat for Humanity of Broward in partnership with generous donors and BBI. The celebration event took place at E. Pat Larkins Center in Pompano Beach, where social distancing was observed, and masks required.

We want to take a minute to congratulate Sharita Hall and Victor Vassell, Shequilla Jones, Lakeisha Smith, Myesha Taylor, Charmaine Williams, and Nicholas Sheffield on their journey to homeownership. We honor their dedication and hard work to provide their children with a stable and safe home environment, making their dreams a reality.

This is a special occasion for BBI as Robert Taylor will no longer serve as Habitat's Board Chair. Since 2012, BBI has been a proud partner of Habitat, and no one has believed more on their mission than our CEO Robert Taylor. BBI has sponsored more than 14 families, and Robert has worked side by side with them along with BBI volunteers, building, encouraging, and igniting hope. Under Robert's leadership, Habitat tripled the number of families served in Broward county. Make sure to check out a very moving video Habitat put together to thank and honor Robert.
