This past Saturday, January 24, BBI proudly supported Habitat for Humanity’s 7th Annual CEO Build at BBI Village in Fort Lauderdale—an inspiring day focused on action, leadership, and community impact.
Our CEO, Robert Taylor, joined local business leaders who traded boardrooms for hard hats, working side by side to help build safe, affordable homes for families in our community. Hosting the CEO Build at BBI Village—a community proudly supported by BBI—made the day especially meaningful and highlighted our commitment to giving back where we live and work.
The event brought together executives representing more than 325,000 employees, all united around a shared goal of creating lasting change. The day featured a morning program hosted by WSVN’s Craig Stevens, a Morning Circle focused on safety and project guidance, and hands-on landscaping and painting projects. Participants also heard powerful stories from Habitat Broward leadership and homeowners whose lives have been transformed through this initiative.
“Housing, and housing costs, are a national problem, and they’re certainly a huge problem here in Broward County, so the sense we have is that we’re at least chipping away at one of the biggest problems that we have as a community,” said Taylor.
For our team, welcoming the CEO Build to BBI Village reinforced what matters most: building opportunity, stability, and strong communities. It’s a place where families can thrive, and this event reflected BBI’s ongoing investment in meaningful, long-term impact.
At BBI, we believe strong communities are built through collaboration and action. We’re proud to partner with Habitat for Humanity and stand alongside leaders who share our commitment to making a difference.
