Do I have to be a runner?

No. Back on My Feet welcomes people of all fitness levels. Whether you enjoy running, jogging, walking, or volunteering in your community, there is a place for you. Our morning fitness program focuses on building consistency, accountability, and community support for individuals experiencing homelessness. You do not need any previous running experience to get involved.

What should I bring?

Bring comfortable workout clothes, athletic shoes, a water bottle, and a positive attitude. If you're joining a Back on My Feet volunteer run for the first time, arrive a few minutes early so our team can welcome you and answer any questions about our mission and community impact programs.

Can beginners participate?

Absolutely. Our workouts are designed for all fitness levels, from first-time walkers to experienced runners. Whether you're looking to join a community running group, improve your fitness, or support a nonprofit making a difference, you'll find a welcoming environment at Back on My Feet.

Can my company volunteer?

Yes. Corporate volunteer opportunities are a great way to strengthen team culture while giving back to the community. Nonprofit sponsorship opportunities help Back on My Feet provide life-changing resources and support for individuals experiencing homelessness. We meet every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:20am to 6:10am at the Salvation Army Thrift Store, 1801 W. Broward Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312.

Runs start at 5:20am and wrap up by 6:10am.
