BBI Proudly Supports the 20th Annual Dick Vitale Gala, Helping Raise $12.5 Million for Pediatric Cancer Research

Burdette Beckmann Inc. (BBI) was honored to attend and support the 20th Annual Dick Vitale Gala on May 2, 2025, at the Ritz-Carlton in Sarasota. The event, hosted by legendary sports broadcaster Dick Vitale, raised an impressive $12.5 million, bringing the total funds generated over two decades to $105.4 million in support of pediatric cancer research. The gala benefits the V Foundation’s Dick Vitale Pediatric Cancer Research Fund, which is dedicated to funding groundbreaking research and providing hope to children battling cancer.
BBI CEO Robert Taylor, Jr. emphasized the importance of corporate philanthropy and giving back to the community. “At BBI, we believe in the power of generosity and the responsibility to support causes that make a real difference. ESPN’s Kevin Negandhi hosted the event, while attendees celebrated the resilience of young cancer warriors on Dick Vitale’s “All-Courageous Team”.
