BBI California Team Drives Record Success at Core-Mark Partnering for Profits Show in San Diego
The BBI California team recently delivered an outstanding performance at the 2026 Core-Mark Partnering for Profits Show, held at the beautiful Mission Bay Resort in San Diego, California. Their hard work, preparation, and dedication resulted in one of the most successful shows in the event’s history, generating strong customer engagement, significant sales growth, and industry recognition.
The Core-Mark Partnering for Profits Show is widely regarded as the premier event of the year for brokers, manufacturers, and retail customers. The invite-only event brings together top-performing retailers from five Core-Mark divisions, including Corona, Los Angeles, Bakersfield, Hayward, and Sacramento, creating a powerful opportunity to drive new placements, build relationships, and increase sales across California markets.
Representing BBI at this year's event were Dzung Le, Bryan Roth, Jenna T., Darren K., and additional support team members who worked together to manage the BBI showroom and engage with customers throughout the two-day event. BBI’s dedicated showroom featured 14 valued client partners and welcomed a steady stream of retail customers who met directly with manufacturers and submitted orders in real time.
Adding to the excitement, the California team was recognized by Core-Mark leadership and received an award for sponsoring the event lunch on the first day of the show. The recognition highlighted BBI’s continued commitment to partnership, customer engagement, and industry leadership.
Several manufacturer representatives attended in person to connect directly with retailers, discuss product opportunities, and strengthen relationships with key customers throughout the region.
Early results from the event have been exceptional. With the virtual ordering platform remaining open through next week, sales have already exceeded expectations and outpaced previous years' performance, establishing a new benchmark for success. This strong momentum is a testament to the quality of BBI’s manufacturer partners and the outstanding execution of the California team.
As orders continue to come in and ship dates extend through May 2027, the results from the Core-Mark Partnering for Profits Show will continue to generate value for customers, manufacturer partners, and BBI well beyond the event itself.
