Tino and Soreya Beltran have been married for seven years and have five charming boys, Tino III (9), Mario (8), Ricky (6), Johnny (2) and Cruz (1 month). Tino works full time as a lead maintenance technician for the Al Angelo Company and Soreya is a recent stay at home mom.
The family of seven currently live in a two bedroom townhome that they have rented for the past 6 years. Their family has far outgrown this space, which will only become increasingly cramped as their boys grow. When their second son, Mario, was born, the family learned that he was missing a crucial part of one of his chromosomes, causing him to be mentally and physically handicapped and in need of full time care. Tino and Soreya have fears for Marioís safety, as the townhouse does not meet Marioís ADA accessibility needs. Similarly, they are strained physically helping Mario move around the two-story space.
The Beltrans have been working tirelessly to complete their sweat-equity requirements and are excited to make McKibbin Commons their home. As Soreya has said, ìHow cool is it to say I helped build the house we are living in. We are so eager to get our kids into a bigger, safer house that they deserveî.
