BBI Proudly Supports 9/11 Fire Hero 5k

BBI was honored to participate in this year's 9/11 Firehero 5K, a meaningful community event organized by Runner's Depot to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and pay tribute to the firefighters, first responders, and heroes who courageously served during and after the attacks.

The annual race brought together community members, local businesses, first responders, veterans, and nonprofit organizations in a powerful display of remembrance, unity, and gratitude. BBI team members proudly joined hundreds of participants in celebrating the enduring legacy of service and sacrifice that continues to inspire Americans more than two decades later.

BBI was especially proud to see Back on My Feet Fort Lauderdale participate in the event. Through fitness, community support, and employment resources, Back on My Feet empowers individuals experiencing homelessness to achieve greater independence and stability. Their presence at the race demonstrated the organization's commitment to resilience, perseverance, and the transformative power of community.

As runners made their way through the course, they honored the memory of those lost on September 11 while recognizing the ongoing dedication of firefighters, law enforcement officers, emergency medical personnel, and military service members who work every day to keep communities safe.

BBI extends its sincere appreciation to Runner's Depot for organizing such an impactful event and to all of the volunteers, sponsors, first responders, and participants who helped make the day a success. Events like the 9/11 Firehero 5K serve as an important reminder of the strength, unity, and compassion that bring communities together.
