Celebrating Excellence: The 2026 Candy Hall of Fame Class

Burdette Beckmann Inc. (BBI) was proud to sponsor and attend the 2026 Candy Hall of Fame celebration, held October 22–24 at Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek in Orlando, Florida. This year’s theme, “Candy Is My Superpower,” highlighted the passion, talent, and leadership that make the confectionery industry special.

On Friday, BBI proudly served as the main sponsor of the Sunset Cocktail Reception, connecting with industry leaders and peers. The weekend culminated on Saturday, October 24, with the Candy Hall of Fame Dinner and Induction Celebration, honoring 11 outstanding industry leaders for their contributions and lasting impact on the industry. BBI congratulates the 2026 inductees on this well-deserved recognition and is proud to support an event that celebrates the people moving the industry forward.

BBI has a longstanding connection to the Candy Hall of Fame, with five BBI team members inducted in previous years: Robert Taylor Sr., BBI founder; Sherrill “Sherry” Taylor, co-founder; Robert Taylor Jr., CEO; Bryan Shade, Senior Vice President of Value; and Stacey Rutherford, Vice President of Value. With three members of the Taylor family among these honorees, this legacy reflects generations of leadership and dedication to the confectionery industry.

For Stacey Rutherford, BBI Vice President of Value and a 2022 Candy Hall of Fame inductee, this recognition is closely tied to giving back to the industry and supporting its future leaders.
