BBI Celebrates Sherry Taylor’s Candy Hall of Fame Induction

A Sweet Milestone in BBI History!
This past weekend, BBI proudly celebrated the posthumous induction of Mrs. Sherry Taylor, BBI’s beloved co-founder, into the Candy Hall of Fame Class of 2025. The induction took place during the 54th annual ceremony hosted by the National Confectionery Sales Association (NCSA) in Orlando, FL. The event recognized eleven leaders whose dedication and innovation have shaped the confectionery industry — with Mrs. Taylor’s legacy shining brightly among them.
During Saturday’s black-tie ceremony, Robert Taylor and Robin Simmons accepted the award on behalf of their mom, celebrating her lifelong dedication, leadership, and love for the candy industry. Her vision, generosity, and commitment laid the foundation for BBI’s success and left a lasting mark on the confectionery world.
With Mrs. Taylor’s induction, BBI is now home to five Candy Hall of Famers, including three members of the Taylor family: Robert “Bob” Taylor Sr. (1995), Robert Taylor Jr. (2021), and now Mrs. Sherry Taylor (2025). Joining them are BBI’s own Bryan Shade (2015) and Stacey Rutherford (2022), both outstanding leaders in our Value Channel. Together, they represent the dedication, leadership, and excellence that define BBI’s role in the industry.
The weekend was also a vibrant celebration of community and connection. BBI was honored to sponsor the Sunset Cocktail Reception on Friday and hosted a VIP cabana at the Splash Pool Party on Saturday, welcoming industry leaders and friends to toast this remarkable milestone.
Mrs. Taylor’s induction is more than an honor; it’s a reminder of the legacy she leaves behind and the values that continue to guide us forward — integrity, partnership, and heart.
We invite you to relive the highlights of this memorable weekend — including photos, videos, and stories from the Candy Hall of Fame — on our dedicated event recap page.
