Senior Financial Analyst
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for a wide range of projects related to financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate performance and provide insights into key financial and operational metrics. This role must be able to organize and manipulate large data sets to make them more accessible and understandable. This role must also be able to interpret data to draw out insights and drive better business decisions.

Recipe for Success:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of work experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related role
- Experience working with large data sets and financial reporting tools
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite - including Power Query, Power Pivot and Power BI are required.
- Proficiency with financial systems and ERP tools is an asset
- Experience with financial budgeting, reporting, modeling and analysis
- Interprets and communicates financial data clearly
- High level of confidentiality and integrity dealing with sensitive information
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Ability to effectively multi-task, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Prior work experience within a CPG (Consumer Packaged Good) broker, sales agency or other food products or manufacturing is desirable.
Here is a taste of what you will be doing:
- Compile and distribute monthly reports for external stakeholders
- Compile and distribute monthly reports for internal stakeholders
- Create and maintain financial dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Work with channel leaders to identify gaps in coverage (i.e., potential sales opportunities)
- Assist with the preparation of semi-annual budget models
- Investigate income/expense variances to budget
- Collaborate with Accounting Dept in commission statement research and analysis
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency
- Perform various ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed
- Other duties/special projects as assigned.
