BBI Champions Industry Progress at 2025 NAMA Legislative Fly-In

BBI’s dedication to advancing the Convenience Services and Unattended Retail sectors was on full display as Jason Ricard, Senior Vice President of Unattended Retail, represented the company at the 2025 NAMA Legislative Fly-In.

Held on June 11–12, the event brought together over 150 stakeholders from across the supplier and operator communities. These leaders gathered on Capitol Hill to address critical policy issues facing the industry.

During the Fly-In, participants engaged directly with lawmakers to discuss three key priorities:

  1. Preserving essential provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), vital to the financial well-being of many businesses in the convenience services sector.
  2. Expanding SNAP acceptance to include Vending and MicroMarkets, aiming to combat food insecurity while supporting industry growth.
  3. Acknowledging the impact of tariffs and economic uncertainty on a supply chain that serves customers nationwide.

Prior to meetings with members of Congress, attendees received comprehensive briefings to ensure they were fully prepared to advocate effectively.

BBI’s involvement in the NAMA Legislative Fly-In reflects our active role in shaping policies that support long-term industry health and community well-being. We remain committed to ongoing engagement with lawmakers and industry partners to drive progress.

Stay tuned for further updates on our advocacy efforts and the impact of this significant event.
