Burdette Beckmann, Inc. attended the United Way Mayor’s Gala in support of community programs advancing education, health, and financial stability.

Burdette Beckmann, Inc. (BBI) was honored to attend the United Way Mayor’s Gala, a signature annual event that brings together civic, business, and community leaders in support of United Way’s mission to strengthen lives and communities.

The Mayor’s Gala, hosted by United Way of Broward County, was held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.  The black‑tie optional evening celebrated 85 years of impact, highlighting United Way’s long‑standing commitment to improving education, financial stability, and health outcomes across the region.

The event drew more than 800 community leaders, city officials, and philanthropic partners, including mayors and representatives from across Broward County’s 31 municipalities. Guests participated in a meaningful evening featuring a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions, dinner, and entertainment, all benefiting United Way of Broward County’s vital programs and initiatives.

Proceeds from the Mayor’s Gala directly support United Way’s wide‑ranging efforts, which include more than 130 programs offered annually and have resulted in over half a billion dollars invested into the Broward County community over the organization’s history.

BBI is proud to support events like the United Way Mayor’s Gala that align with our values of community engagement, service, and partnership. We remain committed to supporting organizations that create lasting, positive impact in the communities where we live and work.
