This role is responsible for managing and expanding food service client relationships by partnering closely with the BBI Management Team, Key Account Executives, distributors, and retailers. The position involves conducting sales calls and meetings, coordinating product demonstrations, and representing clients at trade shows and industry events.
Here's a Taste of What You’ll Be Doing:
- Collaborate with food service clients to present and promote their products to wholesalers and retailers through trade shows, meetings, and sales demonstrations.
- Develop new business opportunities by pursuing leads generated from wholesalers, food service clients, internal referrals, and other sources.
- Train retail staff on proper preparation, presentation, and serving techniques for food service items to enhance customer experience and sales.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Recipe for Success:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 2 years of related sales experience within convenience stores and/or food service channels.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and grow accounts, build strong relationships, provide excellent service and drive sales performance.
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent time management, organization, communication and presentation skills.
- Must reside in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area to manage a sales territory.
- Willingness to travel locally and out of town travel 2-3 days per week for meetings, trade shows and industry events.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, auto insurance at company policy limits and an acceptable motor vehicle record driving record to meet conditions of the company’s hired/non-owned auto policy.
