The BBI Category Sales Analyst – Vending is responsible for using their knowledge of data processing software and business development strategies to provide sound business decisions to Company Executives, Sales Teams, and Clients. General responsibilities include collaborating with other data professionals to extract data figures, create reports based on their findings, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine the success of business initiatives. Data reporting and sales performance analysis will be crucial to generating data-driven decisions in the Vending marketplace and increasing overall sales results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather data, such as sales numbers or market research, to help derive proficient analytics for sales teams on key business issues
  • Work with executives and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Create reports for internal teams and/or external clients
  • Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data
  • Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to prepare visualized data
  • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
  • Structure large data sets to find usable information.
  • Work with other associates to process knowledgeable sales insights.
  • Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings


QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field and three to five years of data business analytical experience
  • A blend of CPG data experience in Sales, Marketing, Finance/Accounting, retail buying, manufacturing, or within the Vending channel marketplace would be a plus.
  • Must be computer proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office with expertise in Microsoft Excel and/or Access are essential (i.e., database management, pivot tables, charts, look-up formulas, and macros).
  • The ability to develop sales presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint is necessary.
